Always Pursue What You Love Most

See the thing is, when I was 16 and finished high school I was so excited to start college, it would be at the same school, but better, I was really looking forward to it, unfortunately when I started it was nothing how I'd imagined, I got sooo depressed and I was literally trying to make myself ill so I wouldn't have to go, I had so much homework but on top of that things were really bad at home with family, we had so many deaths in the family and then we just kept getting in to more debt and I don't know but something changed in me, It's like the exact moment I matured and thought to myself, well actually life isn't about having so much fun and going to college and uni and making my life exciting and perfect, I thought it's about working extremely hard and being able to supply enough money to pay your bills, mortgage and any debts you may have, It's about never stopping until you're secure, well I think that's what made me depressed you know? The fact everything bad in mine and my families life was dawning on me, it was so hard to come to terms with and very unfortunately I became so ill and so upset that I dropped out of college in the middle of November and at the time I thought of it as a positive thing, I thought I'd have 50% less stress, I could help out around the house and get a job to get extra money in... It didn't quite turn out that way but I still think of it as a positive thing, I feel like I've been on some journey and now I have found out more about myself, From being independent I have found so many new things about myself. I know I'm going to be a writer for 1 point, It's my absolute passion and even if people doubted me I wouldn't care because I love doing it and you should always pursue what you love most! So now I'm starting college again, I'm hopefully going to get some good A-Levels and go on to University then I'll go on to pursuing my dreams!! I'm so nervous for college but that doesn't matter because even if you're afraid, you should never give up on what you want to do! Add a little class

Hey guys, this is yet another appreciation post, this time towards music, where would we be without music? I'd like to give an amazing shout out to classic music, la vie en rose by louis armstrong, who can beat the classics, the elegant string of instruments that go into all the music we love, frank sinatra, nat king cole, these were and still are legends for making the most beautiful music on this planet, we should really appreciate these people and the history of the things we love. I can imagine nothing better than to relax and listen to the beautiful, calming, low, vibrant tones that come from frank sinatra or the deep, soulful, rustic class that comes from louis armstrong and nat king cole, I get butterflies imagining and picturing how beautiful it would be at a young lovers or long lost lovers wedding, dancing in the night to "when I fall in love" or "la vie en rose" or many, many more, I imagine them getting lost in each other, dancing endlessly, falling in love, that is to me the perfect description of these artists and this genre of music, it's music like this that you fall in love with, the lyrics, the tone, everything about it makes you feel content. Sorry I've been rambling nonsense, that's what happens when your dream is to be a writer, you can't stop creating scenarios and different situations! Thanks for reading guys -^.^-

You are worth it

I've dedicated this post to those of you out there who are feeling down at the moment, where ever you are you should know you ARE worth it, I know this sounds kinda cringey but honestly no matter whats getting you down at the moment, it will always get better! whether you are struggling with money debt situations, dealing with a loss in the family or friends or just depressed about life in general, it honestly does always get better, and if you're still feeling down after a long time it's because you haven't been talking to the right people or because you haven't been honest with yourself about how you've been feeling so it's just building up, but honestly please have a little faith because you can really do anything you set your mind to. I know that sounds cliche and literally UN-believable.. well.. IT IS TRUE, if you put the right amount of passion, determination and effort into something, you will do great things! So have a little patience and deal with your problems face on and once you've looked at it from a birds eye perspective then you can start to work out what will make you happy, and once you know how to reach your goal of happiness, then you can go on to pursuing it! Be happy, Smile more, Have more optimism and remember it's okay to cry and be upset once in a while, but not all the time! Thanks for reading my post guys!

Respect where the things you love come from

I'd just like to make a quick post to show my appreciation towards Hayao Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli for making such amazing, imaginative anime creations. Their movies are by far the best things on this Earth, the amount of precise detail that goes into these anime productions is absolutely fantastic. I'd like to make a HUGE shout-out to film4 for showing studio ghibli movies everyday at 11am to celebrate these wonderful creations. I love that other people notice and want to share the glory that is anime. Hayao Miyazaki you are wonderful and keep doing what you do! Can you imagine how amazing your life would be if you had Hayao's imagination, you could literally make any situation brilliant by creating your own take on it. 2. My favorite actor of all time is Michael Caine, he is just fab and I admire him so much

3. I have been told more than 50 times that I'm the most sarcastic person people have ever met, but they said its a good thing because it's a funny/dry sarcastic

6. Both of my parents are British but that didn't stop me from being bullied all through school being called a 'chink' because I have quite oriental eyes, doesn't bother me anymore though because I love my eyes

7. Reading books is probably my favorite thing to do, It's such an escape for me.

8. I'm 17 and I turn 18 on bonfire night this year

9. My dream is to travel the world, cliche I know but why not try and see it all?

10. I genuinely believe I'm older in my head for my age, like I dislike most people my age because they are SO immature

11. My Grandma is my inspiration, she has always helped everyone around her and she's just generally one of the kindest people on this earth and I'd love to be just like her

12. I've been so lucky in the pet department, I've had kittens, puppies, rabbits, a tortoise.. etc

13. I have so much respect for the movie industry, Directors, Screen Writers, Actors and Actresses, I think what they do is honestly inspirational and every single one of them deserves so much greatness because they bring so much happiness to many many people.

Being called a 'chink' and made fun of for looking Chinese is probably one of the best things that ever happened to me because that inspired me to look into the Chinese and Japanese culture and it has by far taught me the best things about myself, I now love the Chinese and Japanese more than probably anything in this world.

15. I'm currently trying to learn Chinese Simplified and Japanese.. emphasis on the 'TRYING'

I'm  17 year old girl and I am still really into Pokemon, I am just obsessed with it and just love everything about it, that also brings me to say that I have so much respect for the Pokemon Company and Nintendo, what they do is simply amazing, I don't think we realize how much work goes into it and we should really start to appreciate the people behind these glorious creations.

17. For more than a year I cried for the people that were found dead in The Aaokigahara Forest, I literally wanted to dedicate my life to move down there and try to convince people wanting to commit suicide that there was hope for them.

18. I feel like most of the time I'm waiting for something amazing to happen but it never does, I realize when you want something good to happen you have to MAKE it happen, but sometimes I just don't make that 100% effort, I sometimes don't have the dedication.

19. "8 out of 10 cats and Would I lie to you" are probably my favorite programs of 2013.

20. Harry Enfield, Paul White House, Bob Mortimer, Vic Reeves, Norman Wisdom, Eric Morcambe, Ernie Wise, Alexander Armstrong, Ben Miller and Shaun Lock are in my personal opinion the funniest comics of all time and I LOVE them.

Hello, Bonjour, Hola, Hallo

This post is a hello and welcome to any amazing person who maybe reading this. I've stated you're amazing because you must have come onto MY blog to read this, so yeah that automatically makes you a pretty awesome person. I'm British so I probably shouldn't be using the word 'awesome' but who cares? not me!
By reading what I've written so far I imagine you probably think I'm some annoying obnoxious teen who has created a little blog to moan or gloat about my life.. well if you were thinking that then STOP, I may type a tad immaturely and seem annoying but really I'm one of these people that has SO much to tell but no-one to talk to, so I've created this blog to explain what I'm thinking, hence the name 'think meg' I'll be doing all sorts, I'm not really a specific topic kinda girl, oh yeah I'm a girl if I didn't already explain that before, but as I was saying I like to indulge in all-kinds of subjects, recent news stories, reviews on products, discussing celebrities, different cultures, travel, etc. its going to be crazy so if you have any thoughts or opinions about what I say please discuss and this blog could be a really positive thing for not only me but many of you.
